The Region is very lucky to have a great arts and culture centre on the peaceful side of town. The Black Gully Creek and extraordinary art, plus a fabulous cafe make for a relaxing weekend treat.

This outstanding regional museum is the public face of the University of New England's extensive collection.

If you can, catch one of the tours of the room where they store the works not on display, you will see a side to the work of museums that you can rarely see at the bigger galleries.

A pleasure to amble through this gallery, there is a wonderful array of art with featured artists. Nice cafe as well.

The curators change the displays frequently and are, in my experience, very thoughtful in their approach to their work. In fact, I wish some of the state galleries were this diligent.

A wonderful free art gallery, good times, friendly staff, and a well run cafe, all for an optional no-presure donation. The art and displays are always carefully considered, and, as a final bonus, the cafe uses bonsoy; and if you like soy milk you know it's the best!!!
